Darcy Unroe has more than three decades of hands-on experience in civil and site engineering throughout Central Florida. As President and Principal Engineer of Unroe Engineering, he leads the firm’s design work, project management, and client relationships with a steady focus on practical solutions and clear communication. Darcy has been involved in the full life cycle of site development in the region, from early planning and permitting through final construction.

Before establishing Unroe Engineering as a dedicated consulting firm, Darcy worked as a partner in the original practice, where he gained extensive experience in site design, drainage analysis, permitting support, and technical drafting. His early work as a drafting technician helped shape the grounded, detail-oriented approach he brings to every project today.

Darcy holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Florida State University with a minor in Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida (License #60929).

His long-standing connection to Central Florida, both professionally and personally, gives him a deep understanding of the region’s land, regulatory environment, and development history. Darcy remains committed to working directly with clients and ensuring that every project receives the care, attention, and expertise it deserves.
